Build a JEE Main or NEET test from Class 11 chapters only, in the real exam pattern. Class 12 chapters start unticked, so a full JEE Main paper becomes 75 questions spread across the Class 11 syllabus and a full NEET paper 180. Untick the chapters your school or coaching has not reached yet, and the paper shrinks to the syllabus you have actually covered.

Your paper
Press Generate paper plan for a chapter-by-chapter blueprint: questions per chapter, numericals, marks and time — ready to print and fill from your PYQs, modules or the BrainStride question bank.
Each full paper the generator builds, split by the class each chapter belongs to.
| Exam | Questions | Class 11 chapters | Class 12 chapters | Chapters spanning both | Roughly Class 11 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| JEE Main | 75 | 35 | 27 | 13 | 55% |
| NEET UG | 180 | 86 | 86 | 8 | 50% |
Counted from the generator’s full papers in exam-weightage mode; “roughly Class 11” counts half of the chapters that span both years. Chapter weights are BrainStride’s reading of past papers, not official data — NTA publishes no chapter weightage.
Class 11 is where most JEE and NEET scores are decided, and it rarely feels that way at the time. In the generator's full papers, roughly 55% of JEE Main and 50% of NEET comes from Class 11 chapters — Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Chemical Bonding, Organic basics, and for NEET most of Plant and Human Physiology. Those chapters are taught once, early, and then crowded out by Class 12 and board exams.
The problem is not learning them; it is keeping them. A Class 11 student who scored well in a chapter test in October often cannot do the same questions under time in the following August. Testing a chapter again weeks after it was taught — not just the week it ended — is what keeps it.
Test in the exam's pattern from the start. School tests reward written method and have no negative marking. JEE Main and NEET reward the right answer fast and take a mark for each wrong one. A Class 11 test with +4 / −1 marking teaches you, early, when to leave a question.
Keep the weighting honest. In a Class 11-only JEE Main paper, Coordinate Geometry gets 6 of the 25 Maths questions, because the full paper leans on it too. Equal weighting is better for checking coverage; exam weighting is better for checking readiness.
BrainStride is an AI tutor for JEE, NEET and Olympiad preparation that runs a 20-minute diagnostic, maps your weak chapters and writes a daily plan, with practice-bank solutions checked by teachers. The Class 11 page explains how it fits beside school and coaching.

Through the year
One subject, ten questions, equal weighting, only that chapter and the one before it. It tells you whether this week stuck.
All subjects, 10–15 questions each, exam weightage, untaught chapters unticked. This is the test that catches forgetting.
Full length with the defaults on this page. Score it +4 / −1 and note which chapters cost the most.
Mark the three Class 11 chapters that cost you most and build papers that lean on them, before Class 12 takes your time.
Roughly 55% in the generator’s full JEE Main paper, counting half of the chapters that span both years, and about 50% for NEET. These are BrainStride estimates from past papers — NTA publishes no class-wise split — but every analysis agrees that Class 11 is close to half of both exams.
Yes. Open the chapter list for each subject and untick everything you have not studied yet. The generator shares the questions among the chapters left, keeping their exam balance. For a test built entirely from scratch, the part-syllabus test generator starts with every chapter unticked.
Partly. The chapters are the same, but CBSE papers use different question types, internal choice and no negative marking. For a school-style paper, use the CBSE question paper generator page, which follows the CBSE question-paper design instead.
Not in the sense of writing questions. The generator is a rule-based planner: it reads the exam pattern and BrainStride’s chapter weights from past papers and decides how many questions each chapter gets, so the result is the same every time for the same settings. The AI part of BrainStride is the tutor, which picks your next practice questions from a teacher-checked bank based on the mistakes you have made.
No. The paper plan is built in your browser, nothing is sent to a server and there is no sign-up. Print it or copy it as text if you want to keep it. The free BrainStride diagnostic is a separate, optional step if you want a plan built around your own mistakes.
Exam patterns are from the official information bulletins. Chapter weights are BrainStride estimates from past papers, not official data.
Twenty minutes, twenty-five questions, and a weak-chapter map you can use for every test after.
